Cinnamon rolls (english recipe)

Dough:

200ml milk
50 gr fresh yeast
2 table spoons sugar
1/2 tea spoon salt
1/2 tea spoon ground cardamon
100 gr butter
2 eggs
500 gr plain white flour

Filling:

200 gr butter
100 gr sugar
1 table spoon brown sugar
3 tea spoons cinnamon
1 table spoon flour

To put onto rolls before putting them into the oven:

1 egg
coarse sugar

Make a yeast dough – it’s a pretty soft, a bit sticky dough, don’t get tempted to add more flour.

Let it rest until it’s at least double the size.

In the meantime mix the stuff for the filling. If you heat the butter, make sure you prepare the mixture so it can cool down again, and mixes well together, and isn’t liquid any more.

Roll out the dough on a floured table, put the cinnamon filling over it, and roll the dough. Cut the rolls from it, and let them rest again for a bit.

Before putting them into the oven, quirl up the egg, brush the rolls, and sprinkle the coarse sugar over them.

Put them into the oven at 200° Celsius for about 10 mins.

Enjoy 🙂
